Music at South Moreton

South Moreton has a thriving musical life, with children engaged in curriculum sessions, and extra-curricular opportunities at a high level. We love music and music-making together, and we welcome families to share in this across the year.

 

I can see that music is really valued by the school and it shows in the way it builds the children's confidence in performance. Music really brings them to life - you can see them enjoying it, and we are really proud of them as parents too. It’s great to see that the school puts a lot of emphasis on this. We work closely with Oxfordshire Music Service to offer instrumental lessons with peripatetic teachers in:

• Piano and Keyboard
• Woodwind (flute, clarinet, oboe)
• Strings (violin, vioal, cello)
• Brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn)
